One of my best friends proposed to his girlfriend about a month ago, and after everyone calmed down he pulled me aside and asked me to be his best man. I kind of knew that he was going to ask, but it was still an honor for him to request for me to stand at his wedding.

They’re getting married next Spring, which will be a beautiful time for them to tie the knot, but it will also give me plenty of time to take care of a problem I have: my receding hairline.

I have watching it wither away for about two years now, and although I’ve been meaning to do something about it I never had enough motivation to take action. Now I’m going to not only be in the spotlight, but I’m also going to see people I haven’t seen in years and I’d rather they compliment me on my success than gossip about how bald I’ve become.

So the Monday after the proposal, I took my lunch break and looked up some hair loss websites and came upon one that had a professional home page and I knew it was the real deal. I probably know about as much about hair loss that I do basket weaving, so I looked into the articles they had to treat hair loss treatment, and I didn’t think I’d stop scrolling down! There was like 100 articles of in-depth info, and after my half hour ran out I bookmarked the site to look at after work.

When I got home I hopped back on it, and ten minutes later I knew this was it so I filled out the form on the main page. The following day I was contacted and set up an appointment at a local office, and the next week I had already started treatment. It’s a three month program and in just three weeks I can notice the change, even though my buddy (the only guy I told) said he doesn’t see it.

That’s fine; all I care about is no one ever seeing my receding hair line again.
